St Thomas Hanwell is an historic Anglican church in West London featuring rich architecture and artwork from the turn of the last century.
I designed a new website for the church integrated with the ExpressionEngine content management system to make it easy for clergy and officers to post news, events and publications.
The design seeks to highlight St Thomas Hanwell's rich artistic legacy, including sculpture by Eric Gill, pictured above working on the sculpture at the front of the church. It makes liberal use of the many excellent images of church architecture and artwork supplied by St Thomas, and - what else - the Gill Sans typeface.
The site's design is responsive, adapting to the display of the device on which it is viewed.
