The Scottish Episcopal Church, one of Scotland's major Christian denominations, played the major role in founding the worldwide Anglican Communion, ordaining in the first priest outside the British mainland.
I designed and developed a new site for the SEC - which I handed over to another agency in 2013 - working with the Province's Information and Communications Board to define a site structure, and gather and craft site content. The site featured news and events sections highlighting SEC events, a full directory of publications, and extensive information about the Province's history and organisation.
It also included a directory of all churches across the Province's seven dioceses. The information in the directory was imported from the Province's internal databases. The design employed the Province's blue, red and gold colour palette, and was illustrated throughout with images reflecting the life of the church.
The site was integrated with the ExpressionEngine content management system, allowing SEC staff to keep news and events up to date, and to edit all other site content.
